{Ode to the pioneers}

I hope all of you lovelies had a wonderful 24th!
I really missed being in Utah to celebrate the blessed
pioneers that came and created our magnificent valley for us
to live in. i missed doing sparklers and illegal fireworks
{here in Oregon, ABSOLUTELY no fireworks, since we are stayingin a freaking forest}

I missed the small Tremonton firework show and or course
a small town rodeo.

I did however get to hike an amazing mountain

Introducing Mt. Bachelor!!

With amazing peaks at 9,068 feet and a gorgeous view of the cascade
range, it is one tough nugget to beat! it was absolutely, hands down, the most amazing view that i have seen in a really long time. there is just something magical about Oregon and it's forestey valleys and covered hills and then huge gorgeous peaks jutting out into the sky with a snowcapped glow. it was gorgeous

and i fell in love.

so over all, it was a good 24th. not traditional by all means, but still pretty fab. thanks big bro:)

I had an absolutely magical day:)

p.s. a BIG thanks to the amazing pioneers, you rock my socks. your amazing determination to get to the SLC valley takes my breathe away every time i hear stories. you men and women and children truly are the BEES KNEES. and I take my hat off to you.

THANK YOU.
