Since 1894 MAC cosmetics has been in the spotlight for their innovative design, color, techniques and unique quality of products. With their unique way of recycling their used cosmetic containers, MAC is conquering and moving forward with the sustainability movement.

Their new headquarters is located in an existing building to reduce construction cost and carbon foot printing. Sustainable features include optimized energy performance through alternative energy, an emphasis on day lighting through out the space, and green building materials and finishes. Combined with these features the new headquarters will hold the integrity of the MAC brand through a sleek, modern, and timeless design.

This facility has various unique features. Many of the features include open and closed spaces for private and public use, breakout areas for employees to enjoy the modern design of the space, and shower rooms with bike storage. The main conference area allows for plenty of daylight for energy reduction as well as all the departments and cafeteria area. All materials and finishes have attributes of renewable and recyclable materials and every department has recycle areas to help with the sustainable movement.

The overall space has the feel of sustainability and modern design, helping mankind with this sustainable movement. MAC has always been in spotlight for their uniqueness in all of their products, advertisements, and unique recyclable materials; and they will continue through their unique, sustainable design of their new headquarters.

I'm suspended

from life, work, and school

well thats what it seems like right now

I can't get out of the box, I feel like Im not moving forward

I feel like Im not growing in any of these categories

and it is so so frustrating.

Im stuck in my school work and can't come up with any amazing ideas for my competitions.

Work I just can't get into it this year and that is so so terrible to say, but its the truth.

and life, well I feel like Im not going anywhere

and that makes me want to cry.

I have had so many many great times with this lady!

Im so happy for her and wish her the best on her new adventure.

There is not a memory that I have that does not have her in it!

from dancing since we were 8 to high school and to "grown up" life she has been in it and she is the best!

Soooooo.....

many people are telling me I've been slacking in the blogging world.

Ok I have.

sorry.

So much to do in such a little time and blogging hit the back burner

so here is a few pics of what I have done over the past 3 months

{and this was the most action i got all summer long}

Over all, a pretty gosh darn good summer.

Happy Daddy's day

I am so honored that I was able to learn and be by his side

for my 1st 21 yrs. of life.

I missed him terribly yesterday.

Just when I think that my life is going through

rough waters, I think of Stephanie of the NieNie Dialogues.

She simply amazes me.

Her attitude, her faith, her life.

my new goal: be like her.

She puts life in the right perspective: Simple. nothing fancy. just the real things that matter.

I love her strength, wisdom, and humor. she makes me want to be better.

And I love my church. It is so amazing and for some reason I always forget.

My favorite part about this messages is when Stephanie talks about her spirit tapping her heart and letting her know why she still exists on this earth.

I found that so inspiring and how I need to listen to my spiritual taps more.

so thank you Stephanie.

Thank you for reminding me the real reasons why we are here.

I L-O-V-E this quote. defiantly one of my all time favorites.

I take this quote and try to make it my everyday goal in my projects, behavior, and actions.
