{Im growing up}

Because I finally purchased my very 1st piece of furniture, and by buy I mean, I made it. From scratch. Thats right, you can all be jealous, because you should be.

From scratch, blood, sweat and tears {not really but it sounds better that way}

But really, I made this beautiful thing! It was my "Final" for my materials class and the best final I will ever have.

They gave me a box, an empty one at that and said, go at it! no really I had a little more instruction than that, but it was a great experience! maybe my future is furniture and pattern making?! who knows, but I sure do love it:)

The begining of something very special {and by that I mean, my future living room is going to rock}

Like I said you can all be jealous, REALLY jealous.

{Oh the places I will go Part 2}

Oh that windy city! and trust me it was a cold windy one, But I fell in LOVE with this place. It is so amazing. So much history: the Worlds Fair, famous architects started here, the skyscraper was born here. Amazing. I was able to go to Chicago for school and I am so grateful for it. School has been rough, really rough, but the amazing oppourtunites that I have been able to recieve through it makes it all worth it.

I love Chicago. I really want to live there someday. The inspiration was overwhelming! This city has architecture overdose! All of it is amazing. the city is amazing. first having to rebuild after the fire, it amazes me how people create so many beautiful things. These buildings are so big and beautiful, so much detail and thought, years of hard labor, years of lasting. So amazing. I love it!

I had a great time, from an architecture boat ride, shopping, the amazing food, and the Greenbuild expo, this trip was one of my favorites to date.

Again picture overdose, but so worth it. if you love architecture get ready for a whole of of buildings. My camera broke 1/2 way through the trip so I didn't get as much as I wanted but its all in my head forever!

Our trip started with an awesome airplane nap. reading to each other, lost and couldn't find our hotel,but amazing food. oh the food!!

Pretty river front condos, going for $200,000, which is amazing I wish I had the money!!
Alright here is the overload of builings. I went on an architecture boat ride. Highly recommened if ever in Chi town, its the only way to see this amazing city. All these buildings were built by amazing architects with so much vision, hundreds of men building them for years for people to admire. I love looking at buildings old or new that have such a story to tell, so much history, so much awesomeness!! {is that a word?!}

Trump tower Chicago edition

I LOVE the details on buldings, the tinyiest things make it a home to people and add so so much character.

Willis or Sears tower. people that live on the highest levels have to call down every morning to see what the weather is! so awesome!

While you were sleeping anyone?! I love that movie!
The most amazing thing about this city is either old or new, this city is beautiful. It has such a combination of old architecture and new modern, but still it flows so well each other, just like people. it is so amazing.

Thats right, apartments on top, parking on bottom, amazing isn't it?

One of my favorite buildings. the way it was designed was that on ever level each apt or condo has an amazing view of the city, they each have thier own unique decking system so they all have a great view. See how people are so creative and amazing?!

Chicago skyline. Don't you want to live here!?!?

Oh that bean. It is place in Millenium park with Frank Gehry's cultral hall amazingness. such art can grab your attention for hours! Isn't it beautiful how it refects the city's character? old and new together. so amazing.

Inside the bean. optical illusion fantasy! so trippy but awesome!

Frank Gehry crazniess, so awesome!

The gace buildings. The mayor wanted something to bring the people of chicago to life, they change faces ever so often and the talk and blink and move, so awesome!
Amazing "Green" movable home. it makes energy and money for its owner

Oak Park. It is the fanasty of Suburban living. Its where that famous architect Frank Loyd Wright first started and it is beautiful. The houses have so much character and history,its like they talk to you when you walk by them, this is where I would love to live with my family. it is so so beautiful.

Frank Loyds 1st home and studio. This is where my camera died so didn't get to take many picture of this amazing place sadly:( but it was amazing!
Willis tower everyone! tallest towner in Chicago! amazing views. with clear boxes to step out into so it is like floating over the city! it gets your heart pumping for sure!

This city was so amazing! I am truly blessed to have seen so many places in 2010! Bring on 2011!! {a little secret that I am hoping to tell in a few weeks if everything goes as planned, so stay tuned:)
