{And isn't it Ironic}

So Remember when I told you my lovelies about Mystery Man?
how he was yummy, sweet, nice, delightful.
oh yeah, and married.

Welllllllll I was jamming out to the one and only
Alanis Morissettes "Ironic"
and you know the verse that goes like this:

A traffic jam when you're already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wif
e
And isn't it ironic...don't you think
A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think..

YEAH. my whole life is Ironic.
Just thought I would share that little tidbit.

{Muah}

Muah Muah Muah.
Oh its good to be home!
I LOVED Oregon, its so gorgeous and so much to do and see
BUT to be home!!! I missed my surrounding mountains, my wide open spaces, and my country landscapes.

You know the feeling when your flight is descending into your home valley and you just get these exciting butterflies in your stomach?! well I get them all the time when Im flying back into the Utah valley. I love to slowly descend into the valley and know where everything is and what I am looking at.

I just LOVE the Utah valley. so amazingly gorgeous. it takes my breathe away every time! I could go to a million amazing places but nothing NOTHING beats the feeling of coming home.

Plus who wouldn't want to come home to this:

I have the most amazing friends in the world. you lovelies are truly the cheese to my macaroni, the BEES KNEES of friendship, the whole enchilada, you guys just down right rock my socks:)

Thanks! you are worth more than diamonds, and then some:)

{Ode to the pioneers}

I hope all of you lovelies had a wonderful 24th!
I really missed being in Utah to celebrate the blessed
pioneers that came and created our magnificent valley for us
to live in. i missed doing sparklers and illegal fireworks
{here in Oregon, ABSOLUTELY no fireworks, since we are stayingin a freaking forest}

I missed the small Tremonton firework show and or course
a small town rodeo.

I did however get to hike an amazing mountain

Introducing Mt. Bachelor!!

With amazing peaks at 9,068 feet and a gorgeous view of the cascade
range, it is one tough nugget to beat! it was absolutely, hands down, the most amazing view that i have seen in a really long time. there is just something magical about Oregon and it's forestey valleys and covered hills and then huge gorgeous peaks jutting out into the sky with a snowcapped glow. it was gorgeous

and i fell in love.

so over all, it was a good 24th. not traditional by all means, but still pretty fab. thanks big bro:)

I had an absolutely magical day:)

p.s. a BIG thanks to the amazing pioneers, you rock my socks. your amazing determination to get to the SLC valley takes my breathe away every time i hear stories. you men and women and children truly are the BEES KNEES. and I take my hat off to you.

THANK YOU.

{Why is it so DAMN hard}

I don't understand.

Why do us humans make this so DAMN hard

I mean shouldn't this be easy breezy?
Like
If she gets it, and he gets it,
then shouldn't they get it together?

why do we always make things so complicated?
like making 1 step into 10 different steps

Can't it be just this simple?

and say things like this?

and this?

Why is it that we as humans make something that is so simple and so natural
so FLIPPIN DAMN HARD

Is it because we are so pride & Prejudice?

or

is it because we are so lazy?

or

because we just think too much about it and analyze it
and pick and grind at it till there is nothing left to have?

I don't know what it is but can we all just STOP IT?

can you tell Im frustrated with this topic?

can you tell that a certain boy needs to make up his mind and just let me know what he is thinking?

cause the game is getting old {granted, I haven't played it as long as my BFF:)}

SISTAS i need your help.........

cause us chicas need to stick together.

{We as AMERICA rock}

Can I just say this:

I LOVE AMERICA!!

It rocks the socks off of any country in the world

the Bee's Knee's:)

I am so lucky that I was chosen to live in the
U to the S to the A

We are so blessed to live in a country where we can do what we want!
We have millions of opportunities in this country and so many amazing places to go see

we really do don't take advantage of what we have.

and talk about our COLORS!

Red, White and Blue.

Amazing, spectacular, the cheese to the macaroni colors
White =purity and innocence
red= hardiness and valor
blue=vigilance, perseverance, and justice
{pics by Rockstar diaries}
I love how it sums up the OLD America.
I think that America has been rocky and has lost its way at times, but it's overall goal as a country it still true to its founding fathers. and it will get back that way.

I love America
, I wouldn't choose another country to watch my kids grow and become who they want to be, to be with my amazing family and friends, to see life grow and see people make something of themselves, to choose our own identities, to grow old with someone you love and live life simple.

{pic by tealeaves}

I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am Eternally grateful that I was chosen to live here.

THANK YOU

Have a happy 4th of July

Celebrate USA

she has been so good to us

{For the Beauty of the Earth}

Can I just say how lovely our home planet is?

it is very lovely

and I have fallen in love

it takes my breath away as I discover it's amazing places every single day.

I am so Eternally grateful for our Heavenly Father and what he as given us in this world.

He is the Bee's knees of landscaping.

seriously who can compete with this?

As I am growing up
{I know, I know, who would have thought, right?}
I am finally understanding the beauty of this earth and how much our Heavenly Father loves us. He gave us all of this.
ALL OF IT.
we are a bunch of lucky kids Ill tell ya.

I now know what my amazing father {go here} was always talking about when I was younger. He would always teach us how lucky we were to live where we live and what the Lord our Savior has given us. he would tell us about all the land we would come across and the spectacular mountains we are so lucky to be surrounded by.

I love it here.

to be surrounded by majestic mountains and luscious fields and spectacular flowers with jaw dropping sunrises and sunsets is the way I want to live life through.
{now just give me a man to enjoy it with;)
I know father, 1 step at a time}

I totally understand now.
A truly amazing father we all have.

{can we just Celebrate}

I just wanted to celebrate a few things in my life

this little guy.

TY Brian Hess. 7 lbs. 5 oz. 19 inches long.
cutest little bug ever. I just held him for hours and still couldn't get enough of him. sent straight from heaven with attitude and all.

I can't believe I am a GREAT aunt. a GREAT AUNT!!!! Im not old enough for this gig!

but im so ready for it, if they keep producing these little beans....

He made me so happy when i needed to it so much.

thanks TY.
{remember I am your fav. GREAT aunt cause i came and saw you 1st}

I want to celebrate my dad

just like in my last post about him {go here}

he is so amazing.

I miss seeing him physically everyday, but im so grateful i feel him spiritually still. he is my strength and guardian
{because lets all call a spade a spade, i need it constantly}
I can't wait to see him again, and to just touch his hands and see his smile.

he is the most spectacular father.

happy papa's day. I love you for eternity, and then some

sorry boys {which means=future potentials}
but you have a lot to live up to....

so because of my father, i celebrated like a know he would want me to and went to a spectacular place

YELLOWSTONE
{more like Rainystone, but whose complaining?.... i did, a little}
{sorry ill post more pics later, im tired and my internet is being stupid and won't let me put any more pics on tonight. i guess its tired also}

whats more fun then getting lock out the first night so we had to sleep in a hotel. boo. we still made it fun but still boo.

then it rained constantly while we were there. boo. but still fun

then we get pulled over twice, but just 1 ticket. awesome i know.

LONGEST trip of my life for 1 day of fun.

overall conclusion of the trip:

Fun{thats for you leah} no it was really fun. Maybe next time mother nature could be a little nicer and bring out the sunshine. oh and stay longer that 1 day.

I love life and I am so grateful i get to do so many things and have such an amazing family to share it with.

so my challenge for all of you

CELEBRATE life
its too short not to.
